Build-a-Bear

OK, I have never gone to this store before and I actually really thought it was kind of a weird concept. But now, with a 2 year old and a 4 year old, it was the perfect activity for "Daddy Weekend". Not only was it fun, but the kids can say they got their animals when Daddy was home.

It was a really fun time! What was funny was that they have more than just bears as the stuffed animals so when we walked in, Jim was thinking, "OK, these animals are not too bad - whoa, except for that creepy pink unicorn..." Hayden chose a really cute brown puppy and named him "Puppy". He picked a red and blue shirt with a hood and was satisfied with him. Katie, our dear girly girl, chose the dreaded pink unicorn and named her "Glitter" (with our help). As if the pink, glittery unicorn wasn't enough, she then chose a Disney princess shirt and really wanted the roller skates to go with the ensemble. We kept the shirt but nixed the blades. They were so excited! Now, they both sleep with their new animals and Daddy Dolls. I changed my mind about this place!
