So my dad travels a lot and stays in Mariott hotels wherever he goes. He has a million bajillion points plus timeshares and so he treated us to a night's stay in Orlando's Grande Vista, a Mariott resort. We have been there before, a few years ago, when my family came to Florida for Christmas. It is a beautiful place - and very relaxing. Thank you Dad! I love you!
When we returned from Sea World, the kids and I ordered bread sticks (for Hayden - he's dairy allergic) and pizza and ate in the room. Afterwards, we went to the pool and didn't go to bed until 10 PM! The next morning, before checkout at 10 AM, we hurried up and enjoyed a few hours at the pool! It was so much fun, and although we got a late start on our drive back to Virginia, it was worth it to tire the kids out a bit and enjoy the last of our Florida sun for who knows how long.
